Two players, no draws. You each get 34 tiles and choose 13 of them to form a tenpai hand — then you take turns discarding from your 21 leftovers, 17 discards each. The only way to win is ron on your opponent's discard, and the hand must be worth mangan or more. Everyone is in riichi from the first discard, so every tile you throw is a live bullet.

Simplified here: mangan = 5+ han (no fu counting), one dora indicator, no ippatsu or ura dora, and a valid ron is declared for you automatically.
